Oh well I guess I'm just stupid not to notice. I'm just happy you were able to get the issue resolved! It was really frustrating to use the battle. No problem! I wish they would fix or revert whatever is causing this, as I would bet there's tons of people having this same problem and either just assume it's their computer, or that there isn't a simple solution. Fuck me, this worked!

Win7 64bit. This is actually something that Blizzard should fix but since next to no one actually uses IE anyways, guess it's not that big a deal. Awesome, I am very glad to hear you were able to find this, and I'm glad it fixed it for you too! I could be wrong, but I believe that despite this setting being under Internet Options for IE, it applies to a broader range of windows networking and applications, hence it having an effect here.
So even though you may not use IE, this checkbox has implications. Myself and others believe this "bug" is caused by Blizzard updating the Chromium version used in the Battle, blizzard app slow download.

Wow that fixed so much. Ive had this issue for months and have just been suffering through. This is about the performance of the battle. Hey there! This issue and its solution has nothing to do with download or internet speeds. It has to do with the application itself being laggy and unresponsive, and this is a fix specifically for that. If you're experiencing slow download speeds within the battle, blizzard app slow download.
